Sprint does not get the Internet!

I had a problem with Sprint's on-line account management updating my credit card. Basically the site shows an old card and when I try to enter my new card I get an error. I sent the error to support asking what I should do and here is their response:
The error code 50487 indicates that the system sees no new information in what you have submitted. Your account shows that we received an order to change the credit card we are billing to a Visa that ends xxxx and expires October of 2008. If this is not the credit card that you want charged, please reply with the credit card number and expiration date you would like charged and I will be happy to perform the update for you.
Yeah, let me send my credit card info in a plain text e-mail. I'll get right on that!
