Eau Claire River

Last post of the Eau Claire River, promise! I liked this shot, it seems very calm and peaceful. The color is a bit bleached though -- I need to learn how to take better pictures to get more vibrant colors.

Dells of the Eau Claire River

Here is a quick shot from the bridge over the Eau Claire River. I was at the Dells of the Eau Claire River with my dad and brother last weekend. My brother had us out geocaching in the area. We found two caches here at the Dells and several others in the area that day.

The fall season is in full spring in Wisconsin and in northern Wisconsin the peak of the fall colors appears to be this week. This small pond was found along a trail at the Dells of the Eau Claire River just south of Antigo.

I've decided since I don't have much to say that I'd use my blog to share random photos that I take. Some day I hope to learn about photography and make this a hobby but for now I'm just a newbie and my photos will prove it!

This particular picture I took while geocaching with my brother during the drive home from our parents' house. A Korean War Memorial overlooks this lake just off the highway in Plover, WI.
